FAS Catalog Platform Transition Questionnaire

Below you will find a basic explanation of the questions being asked by the Catalog Management Office at GSA.

3. Indicate the system you currently use to manage your catalog: (Response Required)

If you are currently using the SenSoft system to submit your uploads then you will want to select the third choice which is and insert SenSoft International. This is because while SenSoft currently uses EDI-832 we have prepared a new program that works with the new FCP system.

3b. When the FCP is available to you, how do you plan to manage your catalog? (Response Required):

Please indicate whether you will be transitioning to FCP or working with a consultant to manage your catalog. Additionally, you can select "other"" if you plan on using SenSoft's new system that will help prepare your FCP files.

4. How much of your catalog do you publish to GSA Advantage! for ordering/purchasing? (for contractors with multiple contracts, answer based on combination of all contracts) (Response Required):

Your response will depend upon your offering. Select the first option if you are only providing products, the second option if you are providing products and services/training, and the third option if you are only offering services.

4a. How do you submit your offerings? (Response required. Select all that apply):

This item will only appear if you are offering services and your response will be determined by your offering. Reach out to us if you would like to work with a contract manager on your contract.

5. Do you currently have, or intend to acquire, a GSA Blanket Purchase Agreement based on your MAS Contract? Note this is only regarding GSA BPAs managed in SIP/published to Advantage!, and does not refer to BPAs with other agencies. (Response Required):

This response will be a No, unless you hold or plan on bidding on one of the BPA's that will need to be uploaded to GSA Advantage! e.g. FSSI, MRO or OS4

6. When do you think you would be ready to transition to the FAS Catalog Platform (FCP)? Note: contracts transitioned to the FCP will no longer use SIP or 832-EDI. (Response Required):

Our Team at SenSoft is recommending that you indicate you "wish to remain under the current system as long as possible." However, if you are interested in transitioning to the new system we would be happy to work with you on that transition with our new software designed to support FCP. Please reach out to us with questions.
